My final major project for my Game Art course at the University of Worcester.
Arahla is a game-ready character meant as a non-playable hero-turned-villain in the Star Wars Universe. I looked at existing Star Wars IP games to match the art style and follow the same processes used to create them.
My goals were the refinement of anatomy skills in ZBrush, the learning of new software in Marvellous Designer, and more practice in the areas of retopology and texturing.
I followed an Industry-standard pipeline for character creation, starting with 2D concept art to a High-Poly sculpt in ZBrush. This model was then retopologised in Maya, and the textures were baked and created in Adobe Substance Painter. Final renders done in Marmoset.
